Digitizing and increment grading

Increment or size rule grading is a conventional procedure for increasing / decreasing the sizes. It applies grade rules. Basis are digitized and/or constructed patterns. For made-to-measure clothing increment grading is not recommended.

Paper or card patterns can be digitized into GRAFIS. However, this is not necessary if the construction principle is applied. A digitizer in suitable size (e.g. A0 format) costs about 4.100 Euro (including 16% of German Tax). When using the construction principle this investment is not necessary. Single important paper or card patterns can be digitized once by an external service.
